November 8, 2021 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West, West Bend East, Slinger and Hartford volleyball teams all had players selected to North Shore All-Conference volleyball team.
West Bend West placed two players on the team including freshman Kylee Altendorf and senior Rory Griffin.
Altendorf was selected Second Team All-Conference. Altendorf ended the season with 170 kills, 273 digs, served at 90% with 26 ace serves and 31 blocks.
Griffin was selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference Team. Griffin finished the season with 191 kills, 112 digs, served at 95% with 44 ace serves and led the conference with 90 blocks.
“Both players had an outstanding year,” said coach Debbie Butschlick. “Griffin led her team by example both on and off the court. In leading the Conference in blocks, Griffin really took control of the net.
“Kylee was not afraid to go against any opponent. She did a nice job hitting around the block and finding holes in their defense. Both of these players are very deserving of this honor and we are very proud that they are great representatives of the West Volleyball team,” Butschlick said.
