Machinery shed in Town of Jackson heavily damaged following fire

October 3, 2021 – Town of Jackson, WI – An aerial ladder pours a steady stream of water on a machinery shed already heavily damaged by fire.
Six fire departments are now on scene at a machinery shed fire, 3018 Elm Road, Town of Jackson, WI. The fire call came in at 3:38 p.m.

The shed belongs to the Jim Ziemer dairy farm.

JACKSON

Jackson Fire Department is being assisted by Germantown, Richfield, Hartford, Slinger, West Bend, and St. Lawrence.

Jackson Fire Department Captain Mark Oestreich confirmed the fire started in the shed. “The most difficult part about fighting the fire was the metal roof,” he said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
