June 27, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – A 24-year-old Waukesha woman is facing a number of charges following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon, June 26, at Highway 175 and Hillside Drive.
Washington County Sheriff Martin Schulteis said the accident happened at 4:11 p.m. The woman was traveling northbound on Hillside Drive and blew through the stop sign at Highway 175 and struck a vehicle occupied by an adult and two children. That vehicle rolled over; the occupants were transported by rescue with minor injuries.
The woman was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she failed the field sobriety test.
Schulteis said deputies located meth amphetamines on her person and the woman was arrested for OWI and is facing drug charges.
