December 30, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – On December 29, 2024 at approximately 8:12 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of County Trunk P and County Trunk NN in the Town of West Bend.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the West Bend Police Department responded to the scene. West Bend Fire and Rescue also responded.
Initial investigation indicates a southbound vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle that failed to yield at the intersection.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The operator of the at-fault vehicle, a 51-year-old Town of Trenton woman, was arrested for operating while impaired causing injury.
Charges for going armed while intoxicated will be referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office on the 44-year-old male passenger.
The roadway was closed for approximately five hours. The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit.
