I don’t know how many times I have to remind myself that no two farming seasons are ever the same but this season sure has been a smack in the face. I seriously can’t remember another season where it just kept raining this frequently. However, we control what we can and the rest we leave to the Lord.

With that being the case this will be our last shortened hour week. Our hours this week will continue to be 12 to 5 Wednesday, and Friday. We are closed on Thursday for the 4th. Beginning July 8 we are officially open 7 days a week for the rest of the season.

We are slowly creeping into the summer which means new items have hit the store shelves. These include zucchini and our onions. Along with those you will find potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, kohlrabi, the final radishes til fall, cucumbers, lettuce mix, sugar snaps, and red beets.

We are waiting on a call from our blueberry farm to tell us if they are delivering on Friday or Saturday. I will update you when we have a solid answer. Until then feel free to call or stop in to place an order for a 10# box.

Lastly, looking forward to next week we are hoping to start picking pickles, digging carrots, and hopefully get our hands on some Wisconsin Amish tomatoes.
