Jackson, Wi – For the second year in a row, neighbors in Jackson will have a summer full of construction as the state is funding a $3.89 million improvement project along WIS 60 (Main Street), from County P to Eagle Drive. The work also includes construction of a new roundabout at intersection of WIS 60 and Eagle Drive.
Work is scheduled to begin the week of April 8.

Improvements include:
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Resurface entire corridor with HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt).
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reconstruct WIS 60 and Eagle Drive intersection to a roundabout.
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Update traffic signals at County P, Industrial Drive, and Jackson Drive intersections with WIS 60.
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Improve curb ramps to meet ADA standards.
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â New signage and pavement markings.
Traffic Impacts:
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â One-way traffic patterns in the eastbound direction on WIS 60.
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â WIS 60 westbound will be detoured.
*Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.
Work is scheduled for completion by late summer 2024. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
