Winter weather advisory in effect from midnight to 6 a.m.| By National Weather Service

Washington Co., WI – It may be starting to feel like spring, but don’t put those snow shovels away just yet. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory that includes 3-5 inches of snow.

The advisory is in effect from midnight Wednesday, February 14 to 6 a.m. Thursday.

Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 3 a.m. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 31. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches.

* WHERE…Portions of east central, south central and southeast Wisconsin.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
