Jan. 26, 2019 – Washington County, WI – Another round of heavy snow has been called for with a Winter Storm Watch starting around 9 p.m. Sunday night, January 27. The storm is expected to dump another 7-10 inches of snow across Washington, Dodge, Ozaukee and other southeast Wisconsin counties. The Winter Storm Watch is currently called to remain in effect through some time Monday afternoon, January 28.
A blast of arctic air is expected to accompany this winter storm with wind chills as low as -20.
Use caution when driving in hazardous weather conditions and try to remain off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Keep exposed skin covered if you must be outdoors to reduce risk of frostbite.
Remember to check on your neighbors, the elderly and those who live alone.
