January 15, 2024 – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind chill advisory for the following counties: Marquette, Green Lake, Fond du lac, Sheboygan, Sauk, Columbia, Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Iowa, Dane, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Lafayette, Green Rock, Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha.

According to the NWS:
WHAT…Very cold wind chills between 15 and 30 below zero today, then as low as 35 below zero tonight into Tuesday morning.
WHERE…Portions of east-central, south-central and southeast Wisconsin.
WHEN…Until 9 a.m. CST Wednesday.
IMPACTS…The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little s 30 minutes.
