Will Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals vote in favor of Culver’s variance request?

November 2, 2021 – Hartford, WI – There’s a public hearing before the City of Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021. The hot topic is whether Culver’s will be allowed a variance of a minimum 40-feet setback to 25 feet at 1285 E. Sumner Street.

Following a fire Sept. 11, 2021 Culver’s owner Jeff Liegel and his company, S & L Properties West Bend LLC found a new, larger location across the road in what previously was home to Ponderosa Restaurant. The issue is, the drive-thru would be constricted by the public right-of-way. Hence tonight’s hearing to see if a variance could be approved.
