The folks at Habitat for Humanity are taking over the reigns at West Bend’s annual Germanfest celebration with GUSTO!
Habitat picked up the fest in 2015 after the local board of directors decided to call it quits after 30 years.
“I heard the story reported by Judy Steffes that this was potentially the last year for Germanfest and that sparked my interest,” said Russ Wanta, executive director Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties, Wisconsin.
With Habitat for Humanity now at the helm there’s all sorts of GemĂĽtlichkeit being rolled out including the band lineup and a spankin’ new website.
