West Bend, Wi – The West Bend West JV1 volleyball team played a great game against East winning all 3 sets. The first one resulted in a blow out finishing 25-6, the second set started off a little slow, but the Spartans pushed through and won, 25-12.
The Spartans finished strong winning the third set 25-20. Although the entire match the West Bend West JV1 volleyball team played extremely well, one person stood out as Ella Miller had a huge serving run getting 12 ace serves, which made a crucial lead for the Spartans.
Another Spartan that stood out was junior, Lizzie Thierer who made some outstanding blocks, which made it hard for East to pick up. Ella Henschel had 12 assists, Lena Popp and Madison Ratzel had 4 kills each and Sophie Williams had 3 blocks.
The Spartans next game is October 10 located at home against the Slinger Owls beginning at 5:15.
Ella Henschel is a Sophomore at West Bend West High School. She is a setter on the JV1 volleyball team. Ella has been playing volleyball for 5 years. Nora Renk is a freshman at West Bend West playing as a defensive specialist/libero on the West JV1 team. Nora has been playing for 5 years.
