Dec. 19, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend School Board has called an executive session for Wednesday.
There’s been a lot of speculation in the community regarding the status of Superintendent Erik Olson.
The Superintendent had been on Administrative leave since August.
Any attempt to gather information has been unsuccessful.
An email Nov. 27, 2017 to Tiffany Larson received the response below. 
There’s no clear indication who the administrator is on Wednesday’s docket.
Wednesday’s meeting gets underway at 7 p.m. in the Education Service Center.
On a side note: Friday, Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. is the deadline for incumbent school board members up for election in April to file notification of non-candidacy. Board member Tim Stellmacher has already filed a non-candidacy form. Stellmacher was selected in May 2017 to fill a one-year term to fill the vacancy after Therese Sizer resigned her seat, March 20, 2017.
School Board member Monte Schmiege’s seat is also up for election.
The deadline for filing for candidacy is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 at the Education Service Center.
