August 21, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend Police Department made the following two arrests for OWI on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
OWI 3rd OFFENSE S. Main St. and Vine St
On August 19, 2017, at 3:17 AM, a citizen reported a vehicle driving erratically. West Bend Officers located the vehicle and identified the driver as a 54-year-old female from West Allis. She failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .095% into a PBT, and was arrested for OWI-3rd Offense. The woman was also arrested for possession of marijuana.
OWI RESTRICTED CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE W. Paradise Dr. and S. Silverbrook Dr.
On August 19, 2017, at 1 p.m., a citizen reported a vehicle driving over the center line several times. West Bend Officers located the vehicle and identified the driver as a 38-year-old male from West Allis. The male showed signs of impairment and admitted to using heroin earlier in the day. The male failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI Restricted Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
