December 12, 2019 – West Bend, WI – On Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10:25 a.m. a 47-year-old man came to the West Bend Police department to report he assaulted his wife and requested an ambulance to their residence on South Fifth Avenue.
West Bend officers located the victim at their residence. The woman had serious injuries to her arms and head. West Bend Rescue Personnel transported the victim to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for medical treatment.
Investigators learned the man and his wife were engaged in an argument and the man struck his wife several times with a baseball bat trying to kill her. He was arrested and placed in jail for Attempted Homicide.
The victim is in stable condition at Froedtert Hospital.
