Oct. 20, 2016 – West Bend, WI – West Bend Friends of Park and Recreation volunteered on a beautiful Wednesday putting up the 1940’s train depot at Enchantment in the Park.
There have been quite a few organizations the past two weeks that have stepped up to lend a hand including the West Bend Fire Department which volunteered to put up the walls at Santa’s Workshop.
The Skills USA team from Slinger High School worked with volunteers from St. Luke Parish to put up the megatrees.
And volunteers from Schneider family got together with friends to do some heavy lifting and put the arches into place.
Each year more than 5,100 volunteer hours are invested at Enchantment in the Park as local Rotary and Kiwanis groups team with church groups and school organizations on the holiday light display.
The annual event at Regner Park raises money and donations for area food pantries.
