MOTORCYCLE CRASH / OWI  North Main Street / Barton Avenue

On Nov. 6, 2016, at 5:27 p.m., a West Bend officer observed a motorcycle strike the curb and crash while attempting to make a turn. The officer contacted the driver of the motorcycle and observed signs that the driver was intoxicated. The driver, a 59-year-old West Bend man was arrested for OWI..

GOING ARMED WITH FIREARM WHILE INTOXICATED RECKLESS ENDANGERING SAFETY / DISORDERLY CONDUCT  1600 Block of Barton Avenue

On Nov. 6, 2016 at 2:25 a.m., West Bend police responded to the 1600 block of Barton Avenue to investigate a report of shots fired. The investigation determined a verbal altercation had taken place in an area tavern and a male patron involved in the altercation displayed a handgun. The male left the tavern and as he was driving away he fired the handgun out of the vehicle. The 25-year-old West Bend man was located in Eden by the Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies and taken into custody. The man was arrested for 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, , Going Armed While Intoxicated, and Disorderly Conduct.

OWI / POSSESSION OF HEROIN / POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA / POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
600 Block of South Main Street
On Nov. 6, 2016, at 12:07 a.m., a West Bend officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and observed signs that the driver was intoxicated. The 31-year-old West Bend man failed standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .108% in a PBT and was arrested for OWI. After officers arrested the man officers found marijuana, heroin, and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Officers also charged the man with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

OWI 3rd OFFENSE – 600 Block of Jackson Street
On November 5, 2016, at 9:30 p.m., an officer was conducting an investigation at a residence in the 600 block of Jackson Street when a vehicle pulled into the driveway and parked. The officer observed that the driver had a difficult time exiting the vehicle. The officer stopped the driver and observed additional signs to indicate the driver was intoxicated. The 34-year-old West Bend man failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .214% in a PBT and was arrested for OWI – 3rd Offense.

OWI – WITH PASSENGER UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE – 200 Block of North Indiana Avenue

On Nov, 5, 2016, at 6:20 PM, an officer observed a vehicle driving erratically, swerving with in the traffic lanes and crossing over the center line. The vehicle was stopped and the officer observed signs the driver was intoxicated. The driver had his 5-year-old daughter in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. The 29-year-old West Bend man failed standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .189% in a PBT and was arrested for OWI – with a Passenger under the Age of 16, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.
