Wes and Bonnie Falk: A story of faith and ministry | By Carrie Sturn

West Bend, WI – After living 23 years in Menomonee Falls, Wes and Bonnie Falk moved to Cedar Community in March of 2021.

Wes served in the United States Army as an aviator, then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and education from UW Madison, then Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Illinois where he obtained his Master of Divinity. He served as a pastor in numerous parishes throughout the state of Wisconsin and was visiting clergy at Cedar Community.

Bonnie earned her RN from Columbia Hospital School of Nursing in Milwaukee. She worked as a nurse for 55 years, later becoming certified in oncology nursing.

Bonnie was widowed at the age of 26 with two young children. She met Wes while working as a camp counselor for junior high school students. Wes was the camp director and a bachelor.
