For Immediate Release
Kewaskum. Wendy May Muckerheide announced she will be a candidate for the Village of Kewaskum Trustee position. The Spring Election will be held on April 1, 2025. The Village Trustee is responsible for setting policies, managing financing, enacting ordinances, granting licenses, levying taxes, appointing the Administrator, boards and commissions, managing Village properties and public services, and most importantly being a liaison between the municipality and their constituents.
Muckerheide has resided most of her life in the Village of Kewaskum. Muckerheide’s grandparents Marvin (Trustee 1952-1958) and Marcella Schaefer raised their family on Bilgo Lane. Her parents, Tory and Mary Russell, raised their family in the house Muckerheide now raises her family, on Fond du Lac Avenue.

She is responsible for budgeting, menu planning, accounting, inventory and has grown the program to be self-sufficient. This is in a time where many small Catholic schools do not have a self-governing hot lunch program.

She understands the need and desire for the Village to continue to grow but seeks to do this by involving the constituents and hearing their concerns. Muckerheide is concerned about a population suitable to the current public resources and infrastructure. Maintaining a low-crime and small school environment which is why so many residents chose to live and raise their families in Kewaskum.
Wendy May, and her husband, Scott and their children were raised in Kewaskum. Muckerheide enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and loves live music.
Muckerheide is a proud resident and wants to be the voice of the unheard residents who share her philosophy. Wendy May is asking for your vote for Kewaskum Village Trustee on April 1, 2025.
