We had the good fortune on Friday, May 6 to attend graduation at the University of Colorado Boulder of two former West Bend West High School students.
Maura De Chant Chhun received her PhD in Modern European History and Jessica Marie Vera received her PhD in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology.
Both were 2003 graduates of West Bend West and I had the pleasure of teaching both of them in AP Biology.
The high schools in West Bend have a long history of turning out some absolutely outstanding individuals.
Maura and Jess are just a small representation.
