Although I was extremely shy and could barely even say my name for attendance, I went to the next meeting because I enjoyed the activities.

I may have joined 4-H because I enjoyed making crafts, but what made me stay in 4-H for 11 years has been my ability to inspire younger 4-H members.

Last year, I was elected secretary of the club, and this year I have been honored to be elected the president. I started 4-H as a shy and quiet person who knew nothing about 4-H and all it has to offer and have now been elected the president.
