Washington County seeking applications for District 11 Board Supervisor position | By Jamie Ludovic

 

Oct. 17, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – Washington County is seeking applications from District 11 to fill the unexpired term on the Washington County Board ending April of the year 2020.  Interested candidates must reside in District 11, attend County Board meetings including regular meetings held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. and attend regular standing committee meetings.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors is vested with powers of local, legislative and administrative character to act upon matters of general government, public safety, transportation, health and human services, court services, land use, planning and the conservation of land resources as delegated to the counties of Wisconsin by State Legislature.

“Our ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for serving the citizens of Washington County, can work collaboratively with a diverse group of people and bring a fresh point of view to add to the quality of life for the citizens they represent,” said County Board Chair Don Kriefall. “This is an exciting time to join the County Board of Supervisors as we are exploring a variety of new initiatives that will lead to a more effective government, which can better serve the citizens of Washington County.”
