Nov. 18, 2016 – West Bend, WI – The Washington County Republican Women organization is collecting items for gift bags for female veterans and they’d like the community to join in the project. Â All items donated will be given to the Christmas with the Vets volunteer team to include in gift bags for the Dec. 10 event.
Suggested items include new, full-size lotions, shampoo, hairbrushes, ladies’ gloves, mittens, hats and scarves and/or other new items you think our veteran women would enjoy. Donations for men will also be accepted including extra-large men’s gloves and hats.Â
Other items from the Christmas with the Vets list will be accepted but please no food or cash.

Donations will be accepted at the Washington County GOP office, 519 Hickory St., West Bend on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. – noon or you can drop items in the bin outside the door of the GOP office.
