Sept. 1, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was called to Addison Station, located at 5022 Addison Rd, at 12:29 a.m. Friday for a report of a subject that was “abandoned” by a charter bus returning to Milwaukee from the Green Bay Packer game.
During the investigation, the deputy determined that was not quite the case.
The caller, a 34-year-old Greenfield woman, created an ongoing disturbance on the bus with numerous passengers. During the course of the commotion, she requested to disembark the bus with the backing of the other passengers – including her male friend who was not directly involved in the initial disturbance.
Deputies were able to stop the charter bus on I41 near STH 167 and determined that no one wanted to file an official complaint. None of the occupants of the bus, including her male friend, wanted her back on the bus.
Although the woman was argumentative, intoxicated and unreasonable with the deputies, they arranged for an Uber ride to take her home from a local truck stop in the southern portion of the county.
Washington County Sheriff deputies cleared from the call at 2:30 a.m.
