June 21, 2023 – Washington Co., Wi – The Washington County Public Safety Committee held a meeting Wednesday morning, June 21, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. where the meeting ended with a closed session to “specifically discuss consolidation of dispatch services.”
Calls are being placed and more information will be posted when details become available.
UPDATE: Jackson PD said it already uses Washington Co. dispatch. So this discussion did not pertain to Jackson PD.
UPDATE: Nor does it pertain to Kewaskum PD which already uses Washington Co. dispatch.
UPDATE: West Bend Police confirm it is “not exploring allowing the county to take over community dispatch responsibilities,” per Chief Tim Dehring.
