October 5, 2022 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West varsity volleyball team fought a hard battle but lost a close match to West Bend East. The team was able to take the game to 5 sets, losing only by a couple of points.
West Bend West fell short to West Bend East, 23-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 11-15.
West Bend West fought hard every set and stuck with their mantra “no regrets, no what-ifs.”
Kylee Altendorf did a great job leading the team with 16 kills and 21 digs followed by Lindsay Sandleback with kills 12 and 21 digs.
Megan Spaeth traveled all over the court covering balls; she had 38 digs. Maddie Abel had an impressive game and great defense finishing with 45 assists.
The Spartans are now 4-3 in the North Shore Conference. West Bend West travels to Hartford on Thursday, October 6, at 7 p.m.
