October 16, 2019 – Slinger, WI – Students from Slinger High School are gearing up for Saturday’s Walk United. The Owls will be taking off from Slinger and walking to the Washington County Fair Park as a way to raise awareness and funds for critical issues such as homelessness, hunger, and mental illness across Washington County.
Other schools participating in Walk United include Badger Middle School, Hartford, Kewaskum, and West Bend.
According to the United Way of Washington County, “United, we believe we can accomplish more than we can alone and fight for the health, education, and financial stability for EVERYONE in EVERY COMMUNITY.”
