VIDEO | Unofficial April 7, 2020 election results in City of West Bend

April 13, 2020 – West Bend, WI – The City of West Bend canvassed results from the April 7, 2020 election. Those were announced in the council chambers at City Hall on Monday afternoon in West Bend. City administrator Jay Shambeau summarized the unofficial election results from the City of West Bend.

 

Mayor : Chris Jenkins 4,291    Rich Kasten 3,991

Dist. 3 alderman: Brett Berquist 757    Mary Ann Rzeszutek 466

Dist. 7: Justice Madl  545   Oscar Estrada  300

District 1 alderman John Butschlick ran unopposed as did Dist. 5 alderman Jed Dolnick.

With Jenkins unofficially winning the mayor’s race, his Dist. 4 aldermanic seat will need to be filled.

To fill the seat, according to Shambeau, the council will make a request for residents of District 4 to submit applications and those will be reviewed and eventually voted on by the common council.

City officials will canvas the ballots again by Thursday, April 16, 2020 and tabulate official totals.

The election results for Washington County executive and the West Bend School Board will be posted by the Washington County clerk. Click HERE for those unofficial results.
