June 24, 2018 – Washington County, WI – Welcome to a Sunday series where neighbors take a moment to give thanks for something in their lives that affected them this past week.
The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.
This past Thursday during Music on Main, Interfaith Caregivers was the recipient of a portion of the 50/50 raffle.
The organization’s executive director Janean Brudvig spoke briefly about the importance of volunteers who help senior citizens with grocery shopping or driving them to doctors appointments or even doing a little light house keeping.
Everyone involved in Interfaith Caregivers is doing their part in helping make the life of area senior citizens that much easier.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Giving time to Interfaith Caregivers is a rewarding experience.
Whether it’s driving a senior to the doctor, getting a group together to clean up an elderly neighbor’s yard or simply folding a fresh load of laundry, your time makes a real difference! In the end, don’t be surprised if you forget who’s helping who.
