June 27, 2023 – Kewaskum, WI – Friends and neighbors packed The 5th Quarter Sports Bar in Kewaskum, WI on Sunday, June 25, 2023 to celebrate Eric and Stacey Anderson and bid a fond farewell to their service to the community the last 15 years.
“In 2008 I got downsized from my job,” said Eric. “It was the recession, and this place came up for rent and we took it.”
“This place saved us because I lost my job too in December of 2008,” said Stacey. “So, it helped us immensely.”
The Andersons’ said the charm has been the people and the “pleasure of running a business in Small Town USA.”

Some of the previous business names and owners included Keller’s Prime Time, K-Town Tap, O’ Danny’s, Inky’s Tap, Mike and Rhonda Carlos had it in the 90’s, Kenny and Tom Piwoni, and Joel Serwe.
“Buddy Perkins said the pub has been here for over 70 years,” said Eric. “It’s just been a staple in the community.”
“It’s just been a privilege running a business and the fact everybody kind of works together,” said Stacey.
“It’s been our honor and our privilege to be here,” said Eric.
“We made so many fabulous friends and met so many people from all over the state and the country,” said Stacey. “It hurts my heart because I’m going to miss them, but I hope to see them all going forward and yeah it’s been a good time.”
Eric, you always made your buyer. Very welcome to walk into especially for a woman to walk into a bar by herself. Your bartender Stacy has been nothing short of amazing as you can see I don’t go to the bar is that often but if I were to pick a bar, it would definitely be yours Eric thank you so much I wish you and your wife nothing but the best of luck. Lots of love and hugs.
