April 24, 2018 – West Bend, WI – The 2nd Annual Autism Soup Night at the West Bend High School was a huge success. “We sold all of the ceramic soup bowls within the first hour,” said teacher Rick Olson.
Sixteen local restaurants participated in Soup Night. There was everything from chicken noodle to BLT soup from West Bend Tap and Tavern to a cheesy potato soup from Jug’s Hitching Post.
A couple of student bands volunteered to play and really jazzed up the joint. “Maybe next year we can get Luke Bryan to come,” said event spokesman Roman aiming high with his favorite national country artist.
All money raised helps fund the Autism program at the West Bend High Schools.
