June 13, 2023 – West Bend, WI – It’s music to the ears of many…. especially farmers across Washington County, Wi as rain sweeps across dry fields and yellow grass. Mother Nature is finally dropping some much-needed precipitation across communities like Newburg, Town of Polk, Germantown and Jackson.
Rain started around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. According to the National Weather Service there is 100% chance of precipitation today with up to a quarter inch possible.

Gus Witte from Witte’s Vegetable Market in West Bend said, “Stress and worry can take hold if you aren’t careful, but I trust in the Lord above that rain will come and 2023 will get lost in the shuffle of every other non-descript year.”
Showers are also likely tonight with a 60% chance of precipitation with less than a tenth of an inch possible according to the National Weather Service.
There is a chance for rain Wednesday into Thursday and sunny skies return Frdiay.
