September 15, 2020- West Bend, WI – Final figures have yet to be released but representatives from Horicon Bank have deemed Saturday’s Shred Day as one of the most successful events supported by the community.
As rain moved through Saturday morning local scouts, veterans, volunteers and members of Horicon Bank gathered in the parking lot off Paradise Drive to shred papers for the public.
The free event drew a huge crowd and bank officials had to summon the police to help with traffic control as the line of participants spilled out onto Paradise Drive.
In 2019 the Shred Day at Horicon Bank raised enough donations to send 12 veterans on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
