August 11, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Neighbors across Washington County are paying it forward at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County by helping senior citizens in need.
Steve Prust has been a volunteer driver at Interfaith for the past three years.
Steve helps get seniors to doctor appointments and the dentist. “I really enjoy meeting people and helping,” he said.
The volunteers and staff at Interfaith Caregivers recently brought home the hardware after receiving an award from the Governor and the Senior Corps program.
Remember the first Friday of the month is Percolate. A chance to meet new friends, share some coffee and sweets and find out a little bit about what Interfaith Caregivers does for people in the community.

Giving time to Interfaith Caregivers is a rewarding experience.
Whether it’s driving a senior to the doctor, getting a group together to clean up an elderly neighbor’s yard or simply folding a fresh load of laundry, your time makes a real difference! In the end, don’t be surprised if you forget who’s helping who.
