May 26, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – A regular Sunday series sponsored by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County a local organization that connects seniors with caring volunteers.

The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.

Roger Cross is with the Kettle Moraine Detachment of the Marine Corps League in West Bend.

Cross is a driver at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County. “You can get a driver to take you places but Interfaith does it differently because our drivers care,” he said.

The van decorated with Marine Corps logos is courtesy the Marine Corps League of Washington County. “This van gets respect where ever it goes,” he said.  “We have served our country proudly and while we may be too old to serve in combat we serve in the community.”

A new H.E.L.P. Center has opened at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartford providing gently used medical equipment and resources for seniors in need of assistance.

Everyone involved in Interfaith Caregivers is doing their part in helping make the life of area senior citizens that much easier.
