August 26, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – A new Sunday series sponsored by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County a local organization that connects seniors with caring volunteers.
The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.
Tom Hostad of Hartford has enjoyed paying it forward his entire career. Hostad has been with the United Way of Washington County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County and the Boys & Girls Club.
“I served as a big brother and so many people now a days need a role model,” he said.
Interfaith Cargivers and the H.E.L.P. Center is Hostad’s latest effort at paying it foward.
A new H.E.L.P. Center will open shortly at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartford providing gently used medical equipment and resources for seniors in need of assistance.
Remember Friday, Sept. 7 is Percolate. A chance to meet new friends, share some coffee and sweets and find out a little bit about what Interfaith Caregivers does for people in the community.
Come join us at 8 a.m. at 2374A Washington Avenue. (In the strip mall that used to be Pick ‘N Save)
Everyone involved in Interfaith Caregivers is doing their part in helping make the life of area senior citizens that much easier.
