Town of West Bend, WI – Volunteers took advantage of the remaining warm temps this week to add some Christmas spirit to Cedar Lake Health and Rehab Center on Hwy Z.
Sarah Malchow, Vice President of Development at Cedar Community, created the idea to light up the park for the holiday as a way to lift the spirits of residents. The red-and-white lights and Christmas decorations are located off the sunroom.
About a dozen volunteers spent several hours stringing lights around trees and putting red bows on split-rail fencing.
A family of snowmen were placed front and center as a pair of deer with brilliant antlers stood nestled in the trees.
The magical light display was lit in full glory as residents await the coming of Christmas.
