January 27, 2020 – West Bend, WI – The Jensen and Lorrigan families in West Bend are throwing down a snowman challenge after the group built a 9-foot-2 snowman on Sunday.
“There’s plenty of snow so why not,” said Jennifer Jensen.
It was Friday night into Saturday when about 3-to-5 inches of fresh snow fell across Washington County.
The Jensen’s had plenty to work with Sunday at their home on Glen View Parkway. One of the youngest snowman engineers, Easton, told the adults “three tiers wasn’t enough” so a ladder was brought in to add a fourth section; top it off with some rocks for buttons and eyes, a classic carrot nose, long scarf, branches for arms and a pail for the hat.
“It was really a good time to spend a Sunday with the family,” said Jensen. “And we would like to see somebody beat it…. but we highly doubt it.”
There was a family of snowmen built in Germantown and we’re working to get a photo of the snow family outside Omicron Restaurant on S. Main Street in West Bend.
