September 29, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a local non-profit organization that connects senior citizens with caring volunteers.
Often times the difference made by volunteers in the life of a senior citizen is something you don’t hear a lot about. In today’s segment with Interfaith you’ll realize the impact one of the drivers made in the life of a needy couple.
One of the interesting side notes is how sometimes there’s a stronger connection than anyone ever realizes between the drivers and the people they’re helping take care of.

New to Interfaith Caregivers is Canine Caregivers. “The program connects seniors with therapy dogs,” said Kristen Kolmansberger.
A senior citizen from Germantown requested a get together with a dog. “The benefit is having that time with a dog,” said Kolmansberger. “You can just see it on Barbara’s face. There’s nothing like having a connection with a pet.”
