VIDEO | Interfaith Caregivers delivers donated meals daily from West Bend Tap & Tavern

April 16, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County has teamed with West Bend Tap & Tavern to deliver two meals daily to needy people in the community.

“Definitely there’s a need out there and the restaurant community has stepped up and we just want to make sure we’re doing our part,” said restaurant owner Brian Culligan.

Culligan has been donating meals to Family Promise and Interfaith for delivery.

Interfaith delivery volunteer Tom Engel said, “This is a wonderful service to people in this community who would have trouble getting out. Getting volunteers to deliver is the easy part, the ones at Tap & Tavern and Brian are the people working behind the scenes and what a generous offer.”

If you’re in need of assistance Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is taking the lead on assisting senior citizens in the community. Interfaith is making Kindness Calls and Kindness Cards.
