West Bend, WI – Horicon Bank, 1535 W. Paradise Dr., in West Bend is hosting Shred Day on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. – noon.
This is a free event with donations accepted. Money raised benefits the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
In 2018 Shred Day at Horicon Bank in West Bend was a huge success.
There were 40 bins of recycled paper collected totaling 8,000 pounds.
The donated money from the event allowed four veterans to go on a one-day trip to Washington DC on the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
The cost per veteran is approximately $500.
Money collected from public donations at the Shred Event and Horicon Bank totaled $2,000.
