VIDEO | Hello rain…. It’s been a while

October 12, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – Well look who decided to come join us this weekend… it’s our long lost friend Rain.

The last time the Washington County area had a solid rain was September 23, 2024.  That was a soaker.

Today’s storm system rumbled in just before 4 p.m. Mass at Holy Angels. There was a faint grey cloud shelf to the north and a bright lightning strike followed by thunder and sirens.

West Bend has a house fire started by lighting strike at 705 Creek Wood Dr. Jackson and Kewaskum are responding to support.

The National Weather Service is calling for more rain Sunday, with winds up to 30 miles an hour. A hard frost is on tap Tuesday.

Stay tuned…. We’ll ask for rainfall totals in a bit.
