April 26, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Looking back after the dust settled on our “Full-Service Sunday,” the response blew away my expectations and reconfirmed my confidence in the generosity of the West Bend community.
We finished the week-long food drive by filling four 55-gallon barrels and collecting close to $900 in donations. Add to that our $500 donation and the matching $500 donation from American Companies and it equals over 10,000 pounds of food to help feed families in need in West Bend and Washington County.
As you know, we also had a few lucky donors who are walking away with $25 BP gift cards ( Brooke Brockman, Meghan Dueholm, Chris Verbanac and Shawna Kress) and our grand prize “Stay at Home Gift Basket” winner Tony DeBaker who gets to take home a variety of items including a $50 BP gift card.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Thanks again to everyone who participated and supported the effort.
