On Wednesday of the St. Peter Church Expansion Project the boys took down the cement forms from the main entryway of the church. Mark, a restoration specialist, along with his brother Ron was working on the north-side of the church outer wall in preparing that side for a 10,000 pound I-beam for that opening when that outer wall is open up.
On Thursday, the cross I-beams arrived and were put into place with the help of a 35 ton crane, and were welded into place by one of our local ironworker.. Horsch & Miller another local plumbing company here in Slinger had employees working on laying sewer pipe lines in the new lower church conference rooms.
On Friday, Luke from Horsch & Miller plumbing got the Slinger Building Inspector approval for some of the work that was completed so far. Mark and his brother Ron continue to work on the stone work to make room for the new I-beam on the north-side of the church outer wall.
