August 13, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Master Gardeners Mary Reilly-Kliss and Vicky Hopp discuss the importance of using adaptive tools to help gardeners.
Garden tools which are ergonomically designed can be a great help to gardeners. Long-handled weeding tools allow a person to dig weeds while standing up, and digging forks with large handles and a wide foot step above the tines can make turning soil or harvesting garlic or potatoes a much easier task. Adaptive tools can be purchased at big box stores, garden center and gardening catalogs.
