Sept. 28, 2018 – Slinger, WI – Voting took a turn in the final hours this week and Slinger High School junior Logan Homberg eeked out a win to secure the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week.
“I want to thank anyone who took the time to vote for me and everyone who helped support me,” said Homberg. “Most importantly I want to thank my teammates who help me perform every single day at practice at the highest level I’m capable of. At the end of the day we all have the same goal and that’s to go out and get a win.”
This season Homberg’s rushed for 595 yards in 59 attempts. He also has six touchdowns so far this season.
Tonight the Owls are on the road to face West Bend West. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
