September 12, 2024 – Fillmore, WI – A flag-draped coffin rested in the back of a horse-drawn wagon followed by firefighters in full turnout gear marching quietly through the streets during the 5th annual Fillmore Fire Department Silent Parade to mark the anniversary of 9/11.
Neighbors stood in the darkness on the quiet county road holding candles and flags. It was their small way to participate in the solemn event and pay their respects on the 23rd anniversary of the attack on America.
