Some amazing photos from WashingtonCountyInsider cub reporter Chris Werner as he captured the vehicle fire Wednesday evening in the parking lot at Walmart on Paradise Drive in West Bend.
A large plume of black smoke could be seen by motorists on 18th Avenue. Firefighters were called to the scene around 7 p.m. and quickly extinguished the fire. Witnesses said the heat was so intense the tires on the vehicle exploded.
Police said the incident was electrical in nature.
This was the second car fire in town in as many days, West Bend police said it’s “just a coincidence.”
