Nov 15, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Big win for UW-WC vs. Fox Valley Tech 90-62.
Trailing by one after the first 8 minutes of the game, the UW-Washington County Wildcats amped up the intensity attacking the interior of the Foxes zone defense and holding Fox Valley Technical College to only 21% shooting in the second half to complete their 90-62 victory.
By the end of the game the Wildcats had outscored the Foxes 44 to 10 in the paint and had forced a season high 29 turnovers.
Javon Williams led the way in steals and assists with 5 and 6 respectively as well as adding 7 rebounds from the point guard position.
Andre Bodden scored 15 points and had 9 rebounds to go along with a monster dunk after a baseline drive from the left corner.
Dre Johnson had 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Shaun Fischer had another strong game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
Rohan Behari and Evan Rathke added 11 points each, and Emmett Williams shot 80% finishing with 9 points.
Aaron Rathke had 4 assists while Miles Perkins grabbed 5 rebounds and Derrick Chaney had 3 assists and 3 steals.
Everyone in uniform scored points for the Wildcats in the game. Top defensive standout Randy Howard did not play due to a sprained ankle in the previous game.
The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, traveling to UW-Fond du Lac to take on the Falcons in a 7:20 p.m. game.
