Jan. 12, 2017 – West Bend, WI -Cold shooting as a team and getting out-rebounded resulted in a 69-60 loss for the UW-Washington County mens basketball team in a game at UW-Sheboygan Wednesday night.
Aaron Rathke scored 22 points and Shawn Fischer scored 11 to lead the Wildcats. Wildcats’ top rebounders were also Fischer with 8 and Aaron Rathke with 6.
The team travels to UW-Marshfield on Friday for the 46th annual UW-Marshfield Men’s Basketball Classic Tournament.
The Wildcats open with UW-Marshfield at 8 p.m. Friday, then play either UW-Fond du Lac or Gogebic Community College of Ironwood, Michigan in the afternoon on Saturday.
The next home game for the Wildcats is Thursday, Jan. 19 when the Concordia University JV travels to West Bend for a 7 p.m. game.
